International students require a study permit to study in Canada unless the study program is less than six months in duration. You may require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) as well to enter Canada depending on your country of citizenship. Students can work part-time (up to 20 hours a week) without a work permit while studying. A study permit allows students to work on-campus or off-campus.
To obtain a study permit, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
Successfully accepted at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) in Canada
Proof of financial support for your education and living in Canada for the period of study
English proficiency test (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
Must be able to obtain a police clearance certificate, if required
Undergo a medical exam and provide medical test results
Promise to leave Canada upon the completion of your education
We will guide you to arrange the required documents for your application.
