Canadian citizens and Permanent residents can sponsor their parents and grandparents for permanent residence in Canada. IRCC accepts the sponsorship forms every year for a limited time period. IRCC issues invitations to the selected sponsors based on their annual targets and requires sponsors to submit the application within 60 days of extending the invitation.
